SECHE STEP BY STEP – Preparation and Basecoat

Step 1: Prep the nail
Prior to the application of your base coat and polish, always use Seche Prep™ to remove any oil and residue which may be present on the nail plate. This prepares the natural nail plate for the base coat application and helps to increase adhesion and wearability of your polishes.

Step 2: Choose your base coat
Base Coat
Always use a base coat. This is the best way to get a good bond to the nail plate as well as keeping the nail plate from getting stained by highly pigmented polish. Seche™ base coats are specially formulated to give the best results when used with Seche Vite™ .

Choosing the right Base Coat for you:

Clear™
offers a crystal clear base that will not yellow on the natural nail

Base™
designed to fill nail ridges and help disguise nail imperfections

Two other options for base coat if you need additional benefits:

Plus™
fortified nail strengthener can be worn alone or as a base coat, applying every other day and removing once a week

Natural™
wheat protein, calcium and polyurethane strengthen weak nails, leaving a healthy natural matte finish to the nail. Ideal for male clients as well! Can be worn alone or used as a basecoat.   Apply every other day and remove once a week.
