The Candy Nails Guide To A Flawless Manicure

The Candy Nails Guide To A Flawless Manicure

  1. Remove the old nail polish with some good quality nail polish remover and some cotton pads.
  2. File the nails carefully in one direction.
  3. Place your hands in Luke warm water and give ‘em a lil soaking!
  4. After about 15 minutes (or 10 if you are an impatient madam) dry your hands and nails thoroughly with a clean towel gently pushing the cuticles back as you go.
  5. Use a clean covered orange stick to apply cuticle remover to the cuticles of each nail and underneath the free edge. Push back gently using circular motions and underneath the free edge.
  6. Ease away any excess cuticle remover with a damp piece of cotton wool.
  7. Push back treated cuticle with a rubber hoof stick (we’re almost there)
  8. Place a small amount of hand cream or massage cream into the palm of your hand.
  9. Stroke the cream onto the skin using smooth upward effleurage movements.
  10. Now your hands are soft, smooth and sassy… you can pick your favorite Candy nails polish and paint yourself perfect!
    Remembering the 3 stroke rule…

    1. Apply an essential base coat (to avoid any nasty discoloration or yellowing of the nails)
    2. The funky nail colour of your choice (you are spoilt for choice on Candy nails!)
    3. Last but not least and OH SO IMPORTANT!!!
A high shine top coat to ensure the manicure is as dazzling as diamonds and long lasting.
  11. Go get ‘em…GORGEOUS!
